Record Parking Fines
In addition to motorists being banned next year from making whiplash injury claims motorists are being hit by record parking fines.
Your Local English Councils have been charging in the year 2014 to 2015 a record £700 Million.
These charges in accordance to the RAC survey indicates a 4% increase in parking charges.
The RAC have said that these figures are caluclated by “taking income from parking charges and penalty notices, then deducting running costs.”
The rise in profits is accounted for by an increase in parking income rather than a reduction in running costs (which were in line with the previous financial year).
